Do I lose any STBU in the migration?+
No. The migration is strictly 1:1 — every STBU on Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, or Arbitrum mints the same amount of new STBU on Base, to the same address. Atomic burn-and-mint, audited, zero dilution.
Do I have to deposit STBU with Stobox?+
No. STBU stays in your own wallet. Utility unlocks by simply holding it — there are no locks, no staking deposits, and Stobox never takes custody.
When does it go live?+
The token generation event (TGE) is September 2026. Migration opens at migrate.stobox.io alongside it, followed by a 90-day window. Old-chain contracts sunset thereafter.
Is STBU a security or an investment?+
No. STBU is a utility token — a consumer good used to access Stobox Compass. It is not a security and confers no equity, profit-share, or voting rights. Equity in Stobox is represented by the separate, regulated STBX security token.
What is the STBX equity swap?+
An optional, window-only opt-in: holders with $1,000+ of STBU who complete KYC and meet jurisdictional eligibility can convert into STBX, Stobox's regulated Class-A equity on Arbitrum. Conversion uses 30-day VWAP × STBX NAV at swap time.
Why Base specifically?+
Base is the USDC-native L2 at the center of the Coinbase stack — Smart Wallet, x402 agentic payments, Coinbase Verifications, and Aerodrome liquidity. It's the natural home for compliant, scalable RWA infrastructure.
